Dojo Kun

The Dojo-Kun is recited at the conclusion of every karate session allowing the karate-ka to reflect upon the guiding principles of karate-do.

5. “Hitotsu. Kekki no Yu o Imashimuru Koto”

English:

1. “Exert oneself in the perfection of character.”
2. “Be faith and sincere”
3. “Cultivate the spirit of perseverance.”
4. “Respect propriety” “Be respectful and courteous”
5. “Refrain from impetuous and violent behaviour.”
